Weil am Rhein is a German town and commune. It is on the east bank of the River Rhine, and extends to the point at which the Swiss, French and German borders meet. It is the most southwesterly town in Germany and a suburb of the Swiss city Basel. Weil am Rhein is part of the "trinationale Agglomeration Basel" with about 830,000 inhabitants.

Day 5 of 8

it was 1.35hrs. of train journey to Weil am Rhine. Reading book is my only company at this time.

i arrived early (11:15) and i was lucky that i can already check-in and get my room key at this hour.

I am shocked when i see my hotel room 😵😲

Travelling alone since 2016 but i never had this huge hotel room ever. Maximilian Hotel was a legend to give me this size of room for this stay.

This bridge located just infront of my hotel.

They called it “Dreiländerbrücke”, the bridge connect to the 3 country borders (Germany, Switzerland & France).

Rain on the late afternoon was predicted on that day so immediately hope the public transportation to my next destination.
